The East Petersburg Historical Society is pleased to announce that the guest speaker for our November 6th meeting will be Patrick Clarke, director of James Buchanan’s Wheatland. Pat will be speaking on “A Comparative Study: The Lives of the Buchanan Brothers of Lancaster”, and also discussing James Buchanan’s awareness of the towns of Manheim and Petersburg, and the Lancaster Turnpike. Please join E.P.H.S. for what is sure to be a very interesting program, on Monday November 6th, at 7:30pm, in the Community Building on Pine Street. All EPHS meetings are open to the public and free of charge. There will be a brief business meeting prior to the program, and light refreshments will be served afterwards…hope to see you there!!!
